The booze for real men (pirates)

My Grog Definition: lots of random stuff mixed together. That was what I thought when I heard the word. Here the Wikipedia definition:

The word originally referred to a drink made with water or “small beer” (a weak beer) and rum, which was introduced into the Royal Navy by British Vice Admiral Edward Vernon (nicknamed “Old Grog” by the sailors) on 21 August 1740

When I found out that you can buy this stuff online I was like this must be the most original gift for a man of all time. Which guy doesn’t dream about being a pirate? So this is your chance.

I really like Pusser’s Original Grog Cocktail Mix. This mix from the British virgin islands is not available locally for me, so I get it right from the website. I like mine half mix, half rum, and a touch of water (it can be a tad tart for me without the water). The bottle also suggests a squeeze of fresh lime, which I never have on hand. So most of the time I use some generic lemon juice which is fine too. Harharhar (tried to sound like a pirate here).
